General Info
If you are disabled and require the full-time support of an assistant or companion, they will be eligible for a free ticket.  Please ensure that you make this clear at the time of booking, as spaces for seated events may be limited. We regret that complimentary tickets are not available online: please contact the Box Office on 01223 511 511, or alternatively email us your details and we will contact you.

Dedicated disabled parking spaces operated by Cambridge Leisure are situated in front of our venue, and in the ground floor level of the multi-storey car park off Clifton Way.

Some music events in J2 and all events in J1 are standing only. Customers with access requirements or those who have difficulty standing for long periods should inform the Box Office in advance of the event. The Duty Manager of the event will do everything possible to ensure a comfortable viewing position is provided. We regret that, given the nature of the space, we cannot always guarantee a seated position will give a reasonable view of the performance in J1. In the interests of Health and Safety, it is not possible to place freestanding stools or seats at the front of the auditorium in J1 or J2.

Special effects such as haze and strobe lighting are frequently used during performances at Cambridge Junction. Please do contact us if you have any concerns or queries.

Disabled Artists
Cambridge Junction has flat access throughout for performers and accessible WC facilities backstage. The stage in J1 is accessible using a stair lift. In J2, there is level access to the stage.

Hearing Impaired
Cambridge Junction is equipped with an induction loop in foyer areas. Within both main spaces (J1 and J2), infrared hearing assistance systems are in operation. Please switch your hearing aid to ‘T’ for the duration of the performance. If you are having difficulty with the reception, please inform a Steward or Technician and they’ll try to improve the sound. The fire alarm is equipped with flashing beacons throughout the spaces to aid you should evacuation be necessary.

Visually Impaired
Large-print publicity material can be provided if required: please contact the Box Office and they will be happy to help.

If you are visually impaired and require any assistance during your visit, please inform a steward.

Assistance Dogs
For those with registered working dogs, a member of staff can be arranged to dog-sit for you for the duration of the performance: please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if this is required.

Wheelchair Users
Cambridge Junction has flat access to all main spaces and accessible WC facilities. In J1, these are located by the ladies WC. In J2 accessible WC facilities can be found on both the ground and first floors close to the lift.

For theatre and other seated events in J2, ten wheelchair spaces are available, but advance notification must be given. If you would prefer to sit in a theatre seat rather than your wheelchair, staff will be pleased to help you. Like all bookers, wheelchair users are urged to book in advance as all spaces held for wheelchair users are released onto general sale once all other seats are sold.

Wheelchair users are entitled to bring a carer or friend to accompany you on your visit, they’ll be admitted free to any event where discounted tickets are available (usually theatre / dance / family events), provided notice is given at the time of booking.
