Cambridge Junction is a cashless venue.

From 03 April 2023 Cambridge Junction will only accept card/contactless payments at our box office, bar and cloakroom.

As a charity, cashless payments help us save money on banking fees and costs associated with handling cash. This means more of the money you spend with us goes towards our charitable work with young people and communities.

Merchandise

Cambridge Junction never charges commission on artists’ merchandise sales.

We are proud to feature in the 100% Featured Artists Coalition Venues Directory.

If artist merchandise is available at an event it can be found in the bar area or foyer. Payment types accepted at the venue for merchandise vary between acts, but card or cash are generally accepted.

Smoking

Cambridge Junction does not permit smoking inside the venue, this includes the use of e-cigarettes. We provide outdoor smoking areas for J1 events and ask J2/J3 customers to smoke outside the venue.

Reusable Cup Scheme

To reduce plastic waste there is a £1 charge for each reusable plastic half/pint cup at our bars.

We will charge £1 for your first cup when you buy your first drink and you will then be issued with a clean cup – at no extra charge – every time you go back to the bar, as long as you have a cup to exchange.

At the end of the event you can:
• Keep your cup and reuse it at future events – it’s a cup for life if you want it to be.
• Return your cup to the bar or drop in the yellow collection bin by the exit so it can be washed and reused.

Any funds generated by the reusable cup scheme will support our work with young people and local communities.

Wi-Fi

Public use Wi-Fi is available in all of our venues and spaces. Please ask a member of staff or see the information boards for access.

Ear Plugs

Free ear plugs are available at the box office and at the bar. Please ask a member of staff if you require them.

Cambridge Junction has three venues: J1, J2 and J3.

J1

J1 is the largest space, used for our music and club programme. Most events are standing, if the event is seated this will be on our website.

J2

J2 is the theatre space, where we hold a variety of events. Most events are seated, if the event is standing this will be stated on the website.

J3

J3 is the studio, used for smaller performances and artist development.
