We are sorry to say that all remaining performances of The Snow Queen have been cancelled due to a positive Covid-19 case in the cast.

Ticket holders have been emailed with further information.

We are deeply saddened to have to cancel, but keeping the health and safety of our cast, crew and audience members is our highest priority.

We know this is disappointing news and we are sorry the live show cannot continue. A film version of The Snow Queen is still available for you to watch at home HERE until 03 January.

An NIE, Cambridge Junction and Tobacco Factory Theatres co-production.

This December we are thrilled to be back with a show full of festive joy!

From the makers of Beauty and the Beast and Snow White, it is a magical experience to share with family and friends.

Last year we were online and made an abridged digital version of The Snow Queen filmed in beautiful Cambridgeshire woodlands. This year we are returning to the much-loved story to make a new, extended adaptation with 6 performers and bursting with live music.

Join Gerda on her amazing quest to save her best friend Kaj from the Snow Queen in the frozen north. Featuring a broken mirror and irritable ogres, helpful crows, a bicycling reindeer and a sprinkle of snow in this epic re-telling.

Recommended for everyone aged 5+

After all we’ve been through together, this winter we want to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy our seasonal family theatre treat. We have developed a range of ways local companies can get involved and really help us make this possible.

If you work for a company that might be able to support, or are looking for fun sponsorship opportunities this Christmas, you can find more information about getting involved here.

*Relaxed Performances are suitable for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed performance environment including people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, sensory or communication disorders, or a learning disability or specific access requirements.

The atmosphere in the auditorium will be relaxed to provide a more supportive environment with audience members free to come and go as they please throughout the performance and make noise if they want to.

A visual story can be downloaded HERE. Ticket holders are also invited to meet the characters, explore the set and handle some of the props before the start of the show.

For the safety of artists, audiences, and staff we are introducing some extra requirements to stop the spread of COVID-19. For details on COVID-19 entry requirements please CLICK HERE
