Powerhouse presents

Powerhouse Festival is for queers and allies with a lust for culture and a love of the dancefloor. Gather your cutest pals and co-create a queer future with us.

The UK’s most exciting queer talent gathers in Cambridge this autumn:

  • Travis Alabanza reads from their new book ‘None of The Above’ in conversation with June Bellebono
  • Punk witches Dream Nails come fresh off tour with the Nova Twins to rock the house
  • Rodent and Alicia Jane Turner invite you into a sci-fi revenge fantasy of queer survival
  • Yaya Bones and I Am Fya weave ancestral, intergalactic soundscapes
  • Elise Rose's 3D projections (an installation)
  • Bert Alert is the drag dad we all need in “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gender’

Lilly Snatchdragon, Aisha Mirza, Powderpaint and Ngaio Aniya bring the bass, bleeps, boobs and bangers all night long.

Don’t miss this packed programme of future-facing talks, installation, theatre, live music, DJs, cabaret chaos and good old fashioned booty shaking til we sweat!

Powerhouse centers LGBTQIA+ people and culture, and our doors are open to friends, allies and loved ones.

Why you should come...
This festival has it all. Invigorating performers, magnificent DJs, brilliant talk events and most importantly the opportunity to be in a welcoming, exciting queer space. It's been a long time coming so we can't wait to finally have our venue taken over by the joy that is POWERHOUSE.
