Vision Mixers

Vision Mixers is a Cambridge Junction talent development initiative for 2018-22.  It supports independent producers of innovative and emerging performance as the bridge between artists, venue/programme and audiences.

Cambridge Junction will offer three independent producers £15,000 each per year to undertake a programme of activity which:

  • Focuses on an area of emerging artistic practice.
  • Develops the talent of artists.
  • Presents a programme of work in association with Cambridge Junction.

Vision Mixers sets out to enable independent producers who have specific expertise or interest around a specialist artform, creative interest, and/or community.

All Vision Mixers projects will address innovative artistic practice. We’re interested in a range of artistic practices which we don’t always get to present as part of our main arts programme including live art, experimental and artistically risky circus, sound art, spoken word, art and technology, and performance which interrogates and challenges established relationships with audiences.

Vision Mixers in not exclusively a regional initiative and is open to producers from across the UK but it will bring significant benefits to East England – attracting and embedding talent – both producers and artists.

Full details of the Vision Mixers initiative and an Expression of Interest form can be downloaded below.

Deadline for submission of expressions of interest is 12 noon on Monday 29 January 2018.
