Moving into Live Art, Tech and Digital

Date:Wed 16 Jan

Aimed at artists, performers, tech start-ups, gamers and other 'hybrids', this lab will explore motion capture, live art into tech and the border territories between gaming and art.

Collusion, Cambridge Junction and Anglia Ruskin University are collaborating to open up this rich and lesser explored seam of art and technology. How can motion capture and liveness be mediated across VR, AR and games?

The evening meet-up will comprise of a demo of motion capture, examples of how this is used and practice-based talks. If you work in tech, research, live art, VR or gaming this is for you.
LiveLab will be facilitated by Simon Poulter, the evening session will be chaired and introduced by Matt Burman. Book early, likely to be popular.

Also available are 10 places for LiveLab (during the afternoon). Please email us at if you want to be considered.

Places are free but you must be able to commit to the whole session.
