Unfinished Business: Sauerkraut Spell Making Sessions

PART CREATIVE WRITING, PART TAROT CONSULTING, PART ZINE MAKING… AND RITUAL SAUERKRAUT SPELL ENACTING.

Presented by Leo Kay / Unfinished Business

A unique development process for artists/ activists/ community leaders and anyone wishing to reclaim their power and change the world!

Sauerkraut Spell Making Sessions is a playful and powerful ritual art practice which combines the ancient acts of fermenting vegetables and making spells – aka galvanising our energy and focusing our intentions to change our futures! It celebrates the reclamation of DIY acts of care, nourishment and empowerment and re-places them centre stage in the vital process of visioning the world we want to live in together.

The project takes place over several online and in person encounters and culminates in a collective public spell tasting celebration.

Sauerkraut Spell Making Sessions is part of a larger social art practice; The Bakery Of Slow Ideas – created by Multidisciplinary Artist Leo Kay in response to our current societal tendency towards hyper-productivity. The practice considers ways of resisting burnout on a personal, societal and ecological scale.

The Bakery Of Slow Ideas is produced by art collaboration Unfinished Business (Leo Kay and Anna Smith), find out more at thisisunfinished.com
