As social enterprise, the money raised from our entertainment programme supports our charitable work
Each year we raise funds to commission new work, deliver vital arts education programmes with disadvantaged young people, and to engage with our local community in meaningful ways, alongside our comprehensive progamme of gigs and performances. We firmly believe that the arts and creative industries should be accessible to everybody and are always taking steps to make sure that is the case. Cambridge is a fantastic city, but its also the most unequal in the UK, so the work we do has a significant impact in increasing opportunities in a targeted way.
Get In TouchSupport Your Local Community
We’d love to hear from corporate partners who share our interests in supporting our local community and who we can partner with in this area of work. There are so many different ways you can support our charitable work and we can help you with your community objectives. Whether it’s supporting a specific programme, such as Total Arts (our regular filmmaking group for disabled young people), co-commissioning a brand new piece of theatre, working with your staff volunteers on a project, or through funding one of our apprentices, we will help to deliver your company’s CSR ambitions while you support a really vital cause for our city.
Get in touch with Liz Hughes ([email protected]) if you are interested in supporting Cambridge Junction.
Work We Fundraise For
Total Arts Bigs & Minibytes: fortnightly theatre and filmmaking group for disabled young people. They also run a film festival each year!
Targeted projects: We work with many groups accross Cambridge to deliver arts based learning projects to improve soft skills and technical skills. Recent partners have included hospital schools, alternative provisions, learner centres and CABIN schools for autistic students. View past projects.
Commissioning new work: Commissioning new theatre, dance and live art is a huge part of what we do and has led to many critically acclaimed pieces of work touring the country, as well as launching artists’ careers
Christmas show: For the past few years we have funded hundreds of tickets for young people who may not be able to afford to attend otherwise thanks to corporate and individual donations.
Bursaries and apprenticeships: We believe in making the creative industries accessible to all, which is why we offer three apprenticeships and bursaries to our regular programmes
