Writing Better Funding Applications

Led by Cambridge Junction’s Development Manager Clare O’Hara, and Artist Development Producer Cath Willmore.

Already familiar with the main arts funding programmes such as Arts Council England’s Lottery Project Grants? Maybe you’ve have had some success, but it’s been a bit hit and miss? In this practical workshop we will delve into some of the secrets of writing an application that stands out, using real life examples which we’ll discuss in depth and aim to improve on. We’ll also cover budgeting. Bring an application you’ve had turned down, or one you haven’t yet submitted – or if you don’t have either of these we’ll supply some samples to work with.

Please ensure you are familiar with the structure of the Arts Council’s Lottery Project Grants application form as the workshop will not cover this.

The workshop is free but places are limited and must be booked.
