How to get involved
Trooping North
The Edinburgh preview slots are by invitation and have already been programmed for this year. If you are working towards something for next year’s Fringe please let us know at the earliest opportunity.

This is not a Drill
This is open to any Troop member from any discipline or background who would like to spend a week in the studio with the renowned performance makers Nigel & Louise, creating an original piece of theatre which you will perform over each of the three evenings of Troopfest. You need to be available for the three performances, and 6 days over the previous week (18th-24th July) – exact dates to be confirmed but will include a 5 day creative process plus up to one day of tech time in J3. There is no fee for participating, and we will provide a light lunch for the group on each day of rehearsal.

We have a list of ‘expressions of interest’ for this project. If you have not yet put your name down on the list but would like to do so please email us – details below.

First Manoeuvres
If you have something you’d like to show in the informal setting of a mixed bill alongside other work by Troop members, we are looking for contributions lasting 5-10 minutes in any performing artform as long as it is suitable for the J3 space and has minimal tech requirements.

We can offer:
•    A short tech slot (likely 30 minutes)
•    A contribution towards expenses per slot (exact amount tbc)
