Introduction to.. Marketing
6-7pm, Wed 23rd March, Board Room
A basic introduction to arts marketing with Cambridge Junction’s inhouse marketing team Ed Hine and Laura Matthews.
Workshops are free, but you need to reserve a place here.

‘WLTM’ – Creative Speed Networking
6-7.15pm, Wed 16th March, J3
Troop now has over 80 members who are locally-based performers, writers, spoken word artists, directors, choreographers, dancers and more. This evening is an opportunity for you to find out more about each other and make new professional connections with fellow members. Come along just for a drink, or if you are looking to make specific new connections – whether it be seeking new collaborators, partners, advice or just answers - come prepared to do a one minute pitch describing your work and who / what you are looking for to other Troop members. We aim to make it fun, facilitated and informal. Book your place here

‘Troopfest’ – Briefing Meeting
6-7.15pm, Wed 27th April, J3
Come and find out more about the new summer platform ‘Troopfest’ which gives members the opportunity to present, organise and promote a mini festival of your own work at the Cambridge Junction. Also ‘This is not a Drill’ an intensive week long masterclass which is an opportunity to devise a new piece of contemporary theatre under the directorship of an established theatre maker, to be performed in Troopfest. Book your place here

Socials – monthly pre-show drinks and informal networking with other Troop members
Don’t forget you get 2 free tickets to shows in the theatre & dance programme as a Troop member.

E-News
On (roughly) the last Thursday of each month, members will receive a news bulletin which will include articles on topics of interest, and listings of relevant opportunities including workshops, funding, events. Members are invited to suggest subjects we could cover at any time, and to submit their production photos for inclusion. See below for deadlines.

Each month will feature the following:
•    Report Back: a report from an event (workshop, conference etc) covering a subject of interest and / or a Feature on a useful subject
•    An Introduction To: a summary of the previous ‘Introduction to…’ workshop
•    A Light Grilling: Q&A with a person of interest.
•    Opportunities: A selected list of callouts for platforms, development events, funding etc.
•    Get Outa Town: A suggested event or show to attend outside Cambridge

Deadlines:
April issue goes out 31st March (deadline for listings, ideas & photos 23rd March)
May issue goes out 28th April (deadline for listings, ideas & photos 20th April)

“Views from the ‘Bridge” – Showcase of work by Cambridge-based artists

Callout is now closed. Show your support for fellow Troop members by coming along to the evening and giving feedback on the work afterwards. Book tickets from the box office.

Autumn Creative Residencies
Opportunity for Troop artists wishing to undertake a creative residency at the Junction, which can include access to:
•    Rehearsal space
•    Staff expertise & support to develop your work and networks
•    Opportunities to show your work at the Junction
•    Potential offer of commissioning funds
