Join candidates to be the next Member of Parliament for Cambridge, as they discuss the role of arts and culture in our city.

Cambridge is a boom town and the creative and cultural industries are one of its most vibrant sectors contributing to growth.  How can our politicians work with creatives in Cambridge to help shape our city and country? The candidates will consider questions including: How do arts and culture contribute to our quality of life and local economy? What challenges do we face in cultural education? How will Brexit impact on the creative and cultural industries? And how can our creative industries get involved in local debates such as positioning Cambridge as a smart city?

Confirmed participants are; Julian Huppert (Lib Dem), Stuart Tuckwood (Green), John Hayward (Conservative) and Daniel Zeichner (Labour). Hosted by Cambridge Junction's Director, Daniel Brine.

Come along to hear how each candidate would make the most of their role as our local member of parliament to influence the development of the arts and cultural life in Cambridge. Come ready to ask questions and listen to  answers. Join us for a friendly drink at the bar after the debate.
