Run the Junction

Saucony Half Marathon
Sunday 3 March
Cambridge City Centre

Take on the challenge this March and join the Cambridge Junction team as we run the Cambridge half marathon. Join fifteen Junction staff, including Artistic Director Matt Burman, as we raise funds for our Funded Ticket scheme.

Fundraising Challenge

At Cambridge Junction we think all young people should be able to experience the magic of theatre. Through funded tickets we welcome young people who otherwise wouldn’t get to the theatre to join us, often for their very first theatre experience. This year our funded ticket scheme will welcome hundreds of young people to see a show – including young refugees, children in the care system, young people with disabilities and who are entitled to Pupil Premium. Help us make more of this work possible.

Just £10 sends one young person to the theatre, raising £300 sends a whole class. And if you can raise £2,200 you can pack out the whole of J2 with young people!

In return…

In return we’re giving you the chance to run the Junction for the day! Our Artistic Director Matt is a pretty keen runner – and he thinks the best motivator is a bit of friendly competition… So he’s willing to wager his job! The top runner and our top fundraiser will join Matt as Artistic Director (for the day). Join us – raise a lot of funds, run really fast – and take on the challenge of running the Junction.

Contact Clare O’Hara, Development Manager at if you’d like to join us. We’re aiming to raise £300 each to send 30 young people to the theatre in 2019.
