Shôn Dale-Jones: What’s the Story?

Date:Wed 08 Nov
Time:6:30-9:30pm
Venue:J3
Price:£20 / £15 for Troop members

The world is full of stories. There are stories everywhere, all around us, all the time. This workshop helps to discover and explore the stories you might want to tell and how you could tell them. It works through a mixture of improvisation and writing, with the writer as performer and the performer as writer. It puts ‘story’ at the centre of the theatre-making process. You can come with ideas or no idea.

Shôn has been making theatre for over twenty years, working as a writer, performer and director. He has won several awards including two Fringe Firsts, a Total Theatre Award and a BBC Audio Drama Award. He has made work with the Royal Court, Barbican, National Theatre Wales and the BBC. His work is both funny and touching, seamlessly mixing fantasy and reality, weaving the personal with the political.
