Salon is a new project produced by Cambridge Junction. The concept is to hold space for the exchange and sharing of new ideas between people working in the arts, games, digital media and technology, research and academia. Our hope is to help foster cross-sector and interdisciplinary collaboration. At each event there will be a series of short presentations, discussion and sharing using a form of Open Space technology, and a chance to network with a bunch of interesting and interested people.

Rachel Drury is the co-founder and Director of Collusion, a not for profit arts organisation working at the intersection of arts, technology and human interaction www.collusion.org.uk. She is a creative producer, fundraiser and strategist. For 15 years, Rachel worked at a senior level for Arts Council England contributing to strategic developments such as the shared prospectus with EEDA and national programmes including The Space. Since leaving in 2013, she's raised in excess of £2.5m for a range of arts projects, including developing and delivering Sonic Pi:Live & Coding with Cambridge Junction, the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and University of Cambridge.

This is being presented as part of the Cambridge Science Festival
