Re-play: Swap & Talk About Toys and Plastics

Date:Sun 20 Oct
Time:10.30 am - 5pm
Venue:J3
Price:Free*

In conjunction with A Toy’s Life and Beyond

Join us for debate, conversation and activities for all as we discuss the environmental impact of plastics and other materials used for toys.

Do you know what materials are used in the clothes you are wearing?
What is your children’s toys made from?
Is plastic bad or is the way we dispose of it the main culprit?
Do we always have to buy new?

Through a series of hand-on activities we want to encourage families to participate in a debate and discuss ideas regarding our environment, ways we can be more eco-friendly and become more aware of what materials are used for everyday items.

There will also be a Toy Swap Shop where children can bring a toy and swap it for another.

This is a free drop-in event that runs from 10.30am - 5pm - no need to book tickets!

Presented as part of the Cambridge Festival of Ideas

Ages: Primary school children 4-11 for hands-on activities and new born upwards for toy swap.

Duration: drop-in from 10.30am - 5pm
