When Mark is released from prison, he has nowhere to go. Until, that is, his pen-pal Linda opens her home to him. Set over the initial 24-hour period following his release and told through a combination of overlapping monologues and dialogue, Post is an exploration of readjusting to life after a prison sentence, attempting to move on from trauma and learn a new way to be, and how we respond when reality repeatedly and rudely butts its head against the fantasies we create for ourselves – fantasies both of others and of ourselves.
All for previous productions:
“Corkscrew is to be congratulated on producing such a great show – which I will remember for a very long time.” Sardines magazine, The Pillowman
“Corkscrew Theatre keeps a tight lid on this powder keg of a play.” Cambridge Critique
“Atmospheric and memorable, and it's a real tour de force.” The Ancient Mariner
