“The PALAVER! project looks absolutely wonderful! Having something like it when I was growing up would've been invaluable in creating a sense that I belonged to a larger community. There is still a woeful lack of resources available to young LGBTQ+ people and this project will go a long way in helping all children with their confidence, creativity and understanding. But mainly it looks so FUN!"
Joe Lycett, comedian, and broadcaster

“The Palaver Family Festival sounds absolutely wonderful. A celebration of inclusion, diversity and belonging. It looks as if it will be a manifestation of the brilliant (Stonewall) poster that many children and young people will have seen in their schools showing different examples of families but all adding up to the same experience of love. The aim of this work is timely and important; it is vital that all young people see themselves in the stories that are told of the world they live in and to see themselves reflected back so that they feel valued, appreciated and seen!”
Rae Snape, Headteacher/National Leader of Education and author of The Headteacher's Handbook (Bloomsbury, 2021)

"I took my daughter (8) and son (4) to PALAVER and we had a ball! The performers were lovely, engaging and lots of fun. My daughter loved the dancing and the story time, and my son was really into the bubbles and craft session. I would thoroughly recommend this show to all families as it has a bit of everything, songs, amazing artists, stories, dancing, and glitter!"
Becky (parent)

"My daughter (aged 8) had an absolute blast at this event. She really enjoyed the crafts and the dancing and games. It was a fun, colourful event, well organised and thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended. We will definitely be back!"
Emma (parent)
