Views From The ‘Bridge

Now part of artist development network Troop, Views From The ‘Bridge is Cambridge Junction’s showcase of new work by Cambridgeshire performance makers, selected by a mixture of written application and invitation.

Each season, we present an eclectic evening of new extracts, developing and in-progress shows of between 5 and 20 minutes each.  For artists it’s a great chance to put something you’re working on in front of an audience, see how it goes down and to get some feedback. For audiences it’s a chance to provide feedback to an emerging artist or maybe spot the next up and coming local company.

As always, Cambridge Junction’s artistic team are on the look-out for new projects to benefit from development support and Views From The ‘Bridge is a great opportunity to get your work seen.

Success stories so far include Rowan James’ Easy For You To Say, first met at Views From The ‘Bridge in Spring 2014, supported and commissioned by Cambridge Junction with full show appearing in WATCH OUT festival and the Edinburgh Fringe 2015, and Rachel Mariner’s Bill Clinton Hercules which appeared in Views from the ‘Bridge also in Spring 2014 and has gone on to runs at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014 and returns to Cambridge Junction in May 2016 prior to a London run at the Park Theatre.
