Big Trouble, Little Pictures, The Total Arts Film Festival is back on 25 June 2026!!

Big Trouble, Little Pictures celebrates films made by young creatives in Cambridgeshire. As well as VIP screenings, guests enjoyed inspiring speeches, award ceremonies, and a relaxed disco hosted by The Funky Club. Have you got a short film you have made independently or as part of a group? Would you like to see your film platformed and celebrated at The Light Cinema alongside other films made by young people?

If so, here are all the details:

• Film submissions are open to those aged 25 and under.
• Deadline 12 June
• We will let you know if your film has been selected on 15 June
• Films must be rated 15 or under
• Short films only – up to 5 minutes is ideal, but we will consider slightly longer entries
• Send your film to creative.learning@junction.co.uk via WeTransfer with a short description of your film
• Please make sure you have consent from all those who created your film entry before submitting it to the festival for review.
