Cambridge Junction is delighted to announce the installation of new LED lighting in our J3 venue, made possible through the Theatres Trust Small Grants Programme, supported by The Linbury Trust.

This upgrade replaces our older tungsten fixtures with modern, energy-efficient LED units. The new lights significantly reduces our environmental impact, lowers energy consumption, and provides a more sustainable technical infrastructure for years to come!

J3 is one of our most important and versatile spaces, used regularly by community groups and young people who take part in our Creative Learning programme. Many of these young people have complex needs, and lighting plays a crucial role in making the space feel comfortable, safe, and adaptable.

The new LED rig offers far greater flexibility, including fully dimmable settings and smoother control, enabling us to tailor the atmosphere to suit each group’s needs. This simple but transformative upgrade helps ensure that every young person can get the most out of their time at Cambridge Junction.
