Another installment in the New Routes series, an evening of acoustic, folk and roots artists.

Set out cabaret style with candles on tables, it’s a comfortable and intimate space to listen to the best emerging and established artists from the area.


Chris Fox
Chris Fox is a professional musician living and working in Cambridge England. Singer songwriter, Guitarist, Performer and session musician Chris has been a full time musician since May 2016 when he left the corporate world behind to pursue a career in music. To date his accomplishments are plentiful including an interview and performance live on BBC radio Cambridgeshire, support for Two Coats Colder at Royston Folk club, a guest spot at the LoveFolk festival in Southport via FATEA magazine and invites to perform at Ely and Cambridge folk festivals emerging talent showcases in 2017.


The Boxwood Chessmen
The Boxwood Chessman are a semi-acoustic, four piece band from East Anglia and Middlesex, raiding a fabulous musical pantry stocked with the finest roots ingredients - Folk, Americana, Angliana, hokum and a light dusting of swing all delivered with panache and fun ..... Pretty much anything goes into the pot. We call it Gloriana.
