Another installment in the New Routes series, an evening of acoustic, folk and roots artists.

Set out cabaret style with candles on tables, it’s a comfortable and intimate space to listen to the best emerging and established artists from the area.

Featuring:

The Jellyman's Daughter

Scottish duo The Jellyman's Daughter lands squarely in the middle of a strange crossroads between bluegrass, post-rock, folk and soul. Mixing their unique vocal harmonies with wild and visceral cello, driving guitar and sweet mandolin, Emily and Graham write their songs together with a focus on doing something new.

The Jellyman's Daughter have played extensively in the UK and have toured across Europe and Canada, while also showcasing the past two years at Folk Alliance in Kansas City. 2018 will see them release their second album with launch dates across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada, sustaining the momentum that has earned them exceptional praise so far.

Rosalie’s Lover

A new collaboration between three established singers and multi- instrumentalists - Yve Mary B, Clare Hayes and Lucinda Fudge. Backed on guitar, mandolin and violin/ viola, their beautiful three part harmonies breathe new life into old folk songs and timeless classics.
