A stunning multi-sensory experience for pre-walking babies and their parents and carers.

Unfolding in a custom-built performance tent, Nest takes audiences on a journey through the seasons. It uses playful poetry supported by an original score, movement, puppetry, tactile play and complete engagement of the senses to awaken babies curiosity and remind grownups of the wonder of being in the world for the first time.

Gentle, surprising and magical.

Nest
was created by Anna Beecher and Rachel Lincoln. Rachel Lincoln trained at the Lecoq theatre school in Paris. She creates visual theatre. Anna Beecher is an award winning writer. Together, they make visual, sensory theatre with text. Nest is inspired by extensive research and the artists’ experience as early years practitioners. It was created at artsdepot as part of a Creation Space residency and premiered at Brighton Festival in 2017. Anna and Rachel are International Associate Artists at Farnham Maltings.
