The scientific method collides with comedy: Award winning LHC scientists to show audiences how to find the infamous Higgs Boson particle for themselves! - all under the supervision of the “Voice of Reason” Stephen Fry!

The Royal Institution, London and UK wide– award winning LHC/CERN scientists and science communicators Dr Sam Gregson, Matilda Hay, Dr Aidan Randle-Conde, Jordan Porter, Dr Suzie Sheehy and geek-pop sensation Jonny Berliner have developed a revolutionary new science comedy show, suitable for teenage (12+) and adult audiences.

The “The Ministry of Sense: Hunting the Higgs” show is the first show of its kind. The highly interactive and comedic show will see audience members exploring their own thinking biases, forming their own ideas to solve problems, collecting and analysing data from the Large Hadron Collider using their own smart devices (please bring them along!) and even creating mock LHC proton-proton collisions live! – all with voice over by the “Voice of Reason” Stephen Fry!

The Ministry of Sense: Hunting the Higgs show puts the public in charge of making one of science’s greatest and most exciting discoveries. The audience will be at the cutting edge of science and the progress of the field will rest in their hands as the Large Hadron Collider's latest recruits.
