Caroline Teague
is a London poet writing on grief, identity, and how they come to terms with some of the harrowing realities of being human and being alive, in a style they call ‘tragic optimism’, hoping that the honesty transmitted through their writing can translate into something positive and comforting for others.

Creator of musical project “Caroline Smiling” which blends music, spoken word and illustration to creatively communicate ideas around mental health and queer identity, Caroline has featured in events across the UK and abroad. They also curate London’s Genesis Poetry Slam, and is an artist-in-residence at the Vauxhall-based queer cabaret night Bar Wotever, with their first poetry collection coming out with Burning Eye Books in Autumn 2019.

Nikki Marrone
is a published poet and photographer. When she’s not wandering around the world documenting her adventures, she splits her time between performing, creating, and workshop leading. She has been published in a variety of publications, is the winner of multiple Poetry Slams and has featured at various spoken word nights and festivals around the world.

Hosted by local poet, musician, and unrepentant geek: Fay Roberts
