Gandini Juggling has teamed up with breakout stars Patfield & Triguero to co-produce Gibbon, a poetic celebration of self-awareness and human behaviour, with a sense of humour and a hint of absurdity.

Gibbon takes inspiration from the world of dance, innovating choreographically and conceptually, by mixing different art forms with juggling, exploring ideas through movement and devised theatre to create a surreal and touching atmosphere.

Patfield & Triguero capture the tension of gravity defiance, combining the inevitable speed of an object falling with the slow movement of intertwined arms and hands.

Exploring the connections between human behaviours and the creative process, Gibbon combines the poetic and comedic through a subconscious and visceral approach.

Devastatingly slick and wonderfully thought-provoking, seize the opportunity to come and marvel as a unique spectacle is presented onstage.

Gibbon was an appealing, surreal mix of physical theatre and comedy juggling. Focusing on competition, self-awareness and achieving success while masking failure, this was an absorbing an entertaining work achieved through a powerful combination of technical skill and performance chemistry.
