Fathom (Rehearsed Reading)
Finn’s father went missing a year ago. Now, he is driving through the middle of nowhere to meet a stranger who claims to have information about his disappearance, when he loses control of the car. After he wakes up in a house deep in isolated marshland, inhabited by a young woman, her peculiar father, and their even more peculiar housekeeper, it becomes clear that the car crash was no accident. Inspired by the folk gothic tradition and the landscape of the Fens, Fathom is a murky, mischievous new play about the hidden depths contained in strange places – and strange people.

Take A Seat (Working Title)
Have you ever spent hours on Google Images, finding progressively weirder and more specific stock photos of situations you cannot imagine ever needing to have a picture of.
We have, and we invite you to tumble down this rabbit hole with us.
In Take A Seat, two performers are stuck in a world of chairs, images, and each other. As stock photos flash behind them, they faithfully replicate each pose. What starts as a sequence of seemingly unrelated images soon develops into a tangle of relationships and narratives. An exploitation of copying, the piece blurs the lines of mimicry, mockery and dance.
Take A Seat is a playful, thought-provoking journey into the strange world of stock images and the human desire to find meaning – even in the most absurd places.
