Angela Neenan and Rachel Harvey
Limited Lady

Bin day in the suburbs.

Morning dawns like any other. Life is following its boring work-a-day script. The birds are banging out their old familiar tunes.

But the discovery of Rachel’s lifelong friend Angela lying inexplicably prone on the driveway sends Rachel’s world spinning off its axis.

By turns mysterious, shocking, shameful, stressful, boring and desperate, Rachel’s ploys for dealing with Angela take some strange and surreal turns, eventually driving her towards a head-on collision with everything she’s ever tried to bin.

Limited Lady is the darkly funny tale of what happens when normal rules no longer apply.

Suitable for ages 16+

Duration: 50 minutes

Warnings: references to sexual assault

Take A Seat (Working Title)

Have you ever spent hours on Google Images, finding progressively weirder and more specific stock photos of situations you cannot imagine ever needing to have a picture of.

We have, and we invite you to tumble down this rabbit hole with us.

In Take A Seat, two performers are stuck in a world of chairs, images, and each other. As stock photos flash behind them, they faithfully replicate each pose. What starts as a sequence of seemingly unrelated images soon develops into a tangle of relationships and narratives. An exploitation of copying, the piece blurs the lines of mimicry, mockery and dance.

Take A Seat is a playful, thought-provoking journey into the strange world of stock images and the human desire to find meaning – even in the most absurd places.
