After his astonishing solo performance for Soundhunt in 2025, we are delighted to welcome back the master of improvised saxophone music, Evan Parker, this time playing in a quartet line-up that will draw equally on the heritage of improvised music and of free jazz. Expect true virtuosity as well as remarkable listening and interaction: genuinely spontaneous music-making.

As well as collaborating with all the greats of free jazz and free improvisation, Parker has worked with musicians such as Scott Walker, Robert Wyatt, and David Sylvian, and can be heard on the soundtrack of the recent Oscar-winning film The Brutalist. Stewart Lee has said that “if you’ve ever been tempted by free improvisation, Parker is your gateway drug”.
