MATT

Event Information
Presented by Reflect Productions
MATT is a powerful, deeply human theatre production based on the real-life experiences of writer, director and lead actor Peter Dewar. Raw, intimate and emotionally honest, it explores depression, anxiety, addiction, shame, survival and hope, opening up vital conversations around mental health, stigma, connection and recovery.
Told with honesty, heart and moments of dark humour, MATT takes audiences inside one man’s struggle to survive while revealing the impact mental health can have on love, family, identity and the fight to keep going.
Supported using public funding by Arts Council England, this moving production aims to challenge stigma and remind audiences that even in the darkest moments, connection, support and recovery are possible.
