Channel One return with their full Sound System for an upfull night of Roots & Culture, Reggae, Dubwise vibrations & Rastafari teachings.

Both previous times they played in J2 in 2022 & 2025 they sold out, so you’re advised to get tickets early!

For those that need an introduction, Channel One are in their 47th year with Mikey Dread and his brother Trevor running the sound. Ras Sherby & Macky Banton on mic duties & renowned for their freedom fighting songs & chants.

Their sessions are known to uplift, edify, educate, break down barriers, create reality shocks, decolonize the mind, cause spiritual insights & make your body move in a free up, liberating way

Their Sound System has a clarity, depth, weight and vibration that is felt nowhere else, playing a strictly conscious mix of roots reggae music, old to new, full of dubplates and upfull steppas.

Sista Linda will be there with Channel One’s Culture Stall alongside S&T Caribbean food and Akashic culture stall including vinyl and cds.

Respecting this is a livity for Rastafari, so come with manners, respect and order, all praises given to our creator & sustainer.

• Entry/exit searches and the right to search whilst inside the venue or smoking area is a condition of entry. The entry search is mandatory, the others will be at the discretion of venue management.
• Cambridge Junction has a zero-tolerance policy to drugs. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned from the venue and reported to the police.
• Anyone found to be in possession of a weapon will be banned from the venue and the police will be called.
• All customers are required to present their ID on entry. Strictly no ID, no entry.
• We only accept a valid passport, foreign national ID cards, driving license or home office approved PASS hologram as identification and/or proof of age. We only accept originals, we do not accept photocopies.
• The following items are prohibited from entering the venue. illegal substances; legal highs or any other psychoactive substances; food; any form of liquid (including drinks and perfume); marker pens & spray paint; anything deemed as a weapon; flares, cannisters, DSLR cameras.
• If you have any specific reasons for bringing Prohibited Items into the venue (for example, because you have a dietary or medical condition), please contact us prior to the event on [email protected]
