Award-winning Sanskruti Dance brings a dance festival for everyone to Cambridge this July. With workshops and performances drawing from a wide range of South Asian dance traditions, this event promises to be a cultural highlight in the Cambridge calendar.

Unleash your creativity through rhythm and movement, exploring Bollywood and Manipuri dance styles at one of the dance workshops on offer. Run by the UK’s leading South Asian dance artists, these sessions are suitable for different ages and abilities, so the whole family can take part!

Tickets for the workshops can be found HERE
A discount will be applied when booking both a workshop place and a ticket for the evening show at the same time.

In the evening, immerse yourself in South Asian culture and dance as you enjoy stunning, vibrant performances from professional dancers in a variety of dance styles. There will also be local performers from our very own Sanskruti Cambridge dance school.

The showcase will include Suhani Dhanki Mody, a performer, teacher and choreographer, as well as Indian TV and film actress. Suhani will perform Bharatanatyam dance, the oldest classical dance tradition in India. Noel Datta, a dance movement psychotherapist and performer will perform Manipuri, one of the major Indian classical dance forms from Manipur. The evening will be rounded off by the ever-popular dance style from Bollywood, courtesy of London-based dance company Aparajita Burjwal Dance.

“A dance spectacle from classical dance style Bharatnatyam to Bollywood. A truly colourful way to highlight diversity, culture and heritage in the heart of the city.” – ITV Anglia
