Electric Citizens: Takeover

Date:Mon 29 Jul - Thu 01 Aug
Time:10am - 4.30pm
Venue:J3
Price:£280

Work in small teams with inspiring artists and makers to create and build ‘Electric City’ in a four day takeover of Cambridge Junction’s J3. Use the circuitry, electronic making, visual mixing and virtual reality skills you learn over the course of this creative makeathon to bring your city to life with projected visuals, virtual reality sculptures, sound and light.

Each day in Electric City will start with an introduction by the artist followed by a short skills based workshop. We will have a break for lunch with time to sketch up and talk about ideas followed by afternoons of making, creating & exploration of materials and techniques in small ‘makeathon’ style teams. Artist leads and Collusion team members will be on hand to help test and bring Electric Citizens’ ideas to life.
