Diverse Actions Critical Writing Workshop

Diverse Actions is a three-year initiative from Live Art UK championing BAME artists and arts workers in the live art sector. As part of the project, there will be a publication comprising perspectives, provocations and criticism around the making and watching of live art.

Cambridge Junction are hosting a workshop for people of colour interested in critical writing who may wish to contribute to the Diverse Actions publication on Monday 16th July. Participants will be provided with a ticket to Watch Out Festival (or another live art performance agreed mutually by the participant and Diverse Actions Project Manager, Salome Wagaine) and invited to attend a day of sessions and panels providing insight on writing about performance from a variety of perspectives.

Sessions will include Writing on Your Own Terms (with Megan Vaughan and the White Pube) and Writing for Publications (with Alice Saville, Editor of Exeunt)

Lunch is provided and there is support available for participant travel.
