The Take Two programme is about creating change by providing co-created, creative opportunities for young people, education partners and Cambridge Junction to develop and grow.
Take Two is a partnership with four education partners, learners, teachers and artists, which will run across 4 academic years from 2021-2025.
The programme will offer young people opportunities to exercise agency, explore their own values, feel empowered and have fun through embedding arts-based practice into the setting. It is a development of Cambridge Junction’s ‘Act One’ programme which sought to explore how theatre and film-making projects improve confidence, soft skills, attendance and achievements of young people with a variety of barriers to learning.
Take Two has been made possible by generous funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The Evelyn Trust, The Limbourne Trust and Red Hill Trust.
