Kit Bank is a community-powered initiative that collects used musical instruments, home studio gear and film making equipment — and puts them in the hands of passionate young people who need them most.

Whether it’s a keyboard collecting dust or a mic you’ve outgrown, your donation can open up a world of creativity, confidence, and opportunity.

Why Donate?

Like a food bank, Kit Bank is designed to give young creatives with significant barriers in their lives the opportunity to develop their art form at home or in their community space. Through our long-term partnership programmes with Lyrix Organix, Romsey Mill, Anglia Ruskin University, YMCA, and other youth support charities, we will ensure your equipment will go straight to young people who need it!

What We Accept:

• Microphones, audio interfaces, studio monitors, head phones and other studio equipment
• Guitars, basses, keyboards, drums
• DJ controller, MIDI keyboards, trigger pads
• DSL Cameras, gimbles, tripods
• Cables, stands, other accessories
• MacBook, iMac, other laptops
• Unlocked iPhones or smartphones

All gear should be functional or in good condition, or easily repairable — no toy instruments, please.
