Big Bang Theory 2024

“I’ve learnt how the industry works”

“I came into this with some knowledge from school, and I’m coming out thinking I could probably do this as a career”

“I can feel myself becoming more confident”

In August 2024, 11 young people spent a week at Cambridge Junction learning all about sound engineering! At the end of the week, the participants teamed up with bands and artists and mixed the sound for the Fiver gig in J1, to a public audience of 148!

Throughout the week, the participants worked with industry professionals Tom Carter, Ben Newland and Tim Webster on understanding basic electrics, PA design, stagecraft, front of house, monitor speakers, operation of mixing desks, and the theory behind it all.

Big Bang Theory is delivered in partnership with Cambridge Corn Exchange and Anglia Ruskin University.
