Christmas Show: School & Group Performances

The snow Queen

A magical family Christmas show from the makers of Snow White and Beauty and the Beast

The Snow Queen

A NIE, Cambridge Junction and Tobacco Factory Theatres co-production.

This December we are thrilled to be back with a show full of festive joy!

From the makers of Beauty and the Beast and Snow White, this promises to be a magical experience to share with family and friends.

Last year we were online and made an abridged digital version of The Snow Queen filmed in beautiful Cambridgeshire woodlands. This year we are returning to the much-loved story to make a new, extended adaptation with 6 performers and bursting with live music.

Join Gerda on her amazing quest to save her best friend Kaj from the Snow Queen in the frozen north. Featuring a broken mirror and irritable ogres, helpful crows, a bicycling reindeer and a sprinkle of snow in this epic re-telling.

Recommended for everyone aged 5+

We are happy to discuss seating arrangements including bubbles to best suit your school or group. The staging for the performance is in a ‘traverse’ format, a long and narrow stage with the audience sitting on either side, like a catwalk making it well suited for distancing between groups.
