BoM: Business of Music

Want to work in the music industry but don’t know where to start? You need BoM, a day of talks and workshops for young people thinking about a professional career in any genre of popular music.

BoM provides young musicians and music promoters access to the experience of industry professionals – promoters, agents, artists and venue reps – who provide advice about getting-on in the music industry. Sessions include: a snapshots of venues across East England, tips on how to get your foot in the door and on stage, how to create a professional identity and build your profile, and advice about funding.
