Figs in Wigs: Astrology Bingo

Date:Tue 10 Aug
Time:7-10pm
Venue:J1 (seated reduced capacity event)
Price:from £32.50 (a table of 2)

Join your favourite galactic gal pals Figs in Wigs for Astrology Bingo - the world’s first ever cosmic game show for astrology lovers, bingo wingers and their sceptic friends.

Not big on maths? Don’t worry, we’ve solved that problem - because instead of numbers you’ll be counting your lucky stars! That’s right, this bingo game will be based on your own astrological chart! We’ll be giving each player a unique tailor made bingo card generated from their personal natal horoscope. You’ll need to listen closely for your ‘Scorpio Moon’ or your ‘Capricorn Rising’ sign to be called before you can dab dab dab your pain away.

Don’t know your Uranus from your elbow? Are you a pixie on the cusp - unsure of whether you’re an Aries or a Taurus? Never fear! We will use a reliable source called The Interweb to determine your chart for you. All you need to know is your birth date, time and location - we’ll do the rest.

We’ll be bringing the stars to your eyes, with stellar performances from special guests Tammy Reynolds and Max Velocity (Carla Keen), as well as your hosts Figs in Wigs. We have some incredible prizes to be won, and what with the current state of the world you’ve got nothing left to lose - and everything to win!* So no matter which house system you use, you better ask the universe for a full house tonight.

*including your money back, and a natal chart reading with a real** life astrologer
** nothing is real

A little more about our out-of-this-world special guest acts:

Tammy Reynolds’ sun is in Capricorn and moon is in Virgo. Their natal chart says, ‘They are honest, reserved, circumspect, honorable, and strong-willed. Quietly ambitious within the realms of the possible, they like and take on responsibility. They can work in the social domain. Possible issues: a sometimes bitter and mistrustful mind.’

Max Velocity (Carla Keen) wants to go to space. Specifically, he wants to be the first mullet in space. He sees it as the new frontier, a way to show everyone what it means to be an individual, but he's not blind to the sexism in NASA. He also loves the Beastie boys. And rockets. Don't forget the rockets. Carla Keen is a theatre-maker and improviser based in Cambridge, UK.
