Date:Fri 19 Oct
Time:10am - 4pm

The third annual Arts Trust Fundraisers Conference is organised by trust and foundations fundraisers working in the arts for trusts and foundations fundraisers in the arts.

Confirmed sessions include:

Meet the Funder
Your chance to ask questions of the experts.
Alan Bookbinder, former Director of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts
Alison Holdom, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation
Yemisi Turner-Blake, Paul Hamlyn Foundation

Creating stories with impact
In this session, we will explore how the stories you tell can be a powerful way to communicate your message with supporters and how to use psychology and neurology to make stories memorable. Run by Philly Graham from the Management Centre

Case studies: how to build relationships with trusts and foundations from scratch (when you have no connections)
So you haven’t got a Board or Development Committee full of well networked individuals with a route to Trustees, how do you build meaningful and long term relationships from a cold start? A series of case studies from members.

Approaches to Evaluation
An expert panel of Dr Tom Ling (Senior Research Leader and Head of Evaluation at RAND Europe) and Jane Steele (Director, Evidence and Learning - Paul Hamlyn Foundation) will discuss their work and share tips on how to best monitor, understand and communicate impact, as well as taking your questions from the floor.

Peer Review of applications
After the great session last year, David Burgess returns for an extended exploration of what makes for a successful application.

The conference will finish at 4pm with a drinks reception.

The ticket price of £15 covers tea, coffee, lunch and the drinks reception.

Thank you to the Management Centre, David Burgess and Apollo Fundraising for their support.
