The 7-piece Afrocentrics create progressive dance music played by musicians rather than computers.

The Afrocentrics make a strong musical statement with their spellbinding Afrobeat-funk-groove hybrid. Their mesmerising sound creates pure dance floor euphoria built around African rhythms that takes in jazz, salsa, reggae and adding a modern twist. Their forward-thinking music is driven by sharp song writing skills powered by their tight musicianship which is gathering listeners who are taken aside with the Afrocentrics tight, groove-heavy sounds.

From 19 July, we are taking a cautious approach at Cambridge Junction for the comfort and safety of our audiences, guests and staff. We strongly recommend that our audiences and guests: 

  • Continue to wear a mask indoors following the guidelines that are currently in place unless exempt.
  • Maintain a safe distance from other guests at the event where possible.

Staff will also continue to follow these guidelines as well as continuing with enhanced cleaning, providing hand sanitiser throughout the building and performing regular lateral flow tests.
