The Cambridge New Writing Festival
Welcome to a festival of plays with a future! Hotbed 2009 once again sees Menagerie join forces with The Junction to present the best new writing for stage from the East of England and beyond. From established names to first time writers Hotbed produces vibrant, inspiring, new work to engage audiences and artists alike.

Introduction
Founded in 1990 to provide cultural facilities for young people in Cambridge, The Junction currently works with a number of organisations.
These include Cambridgeshire Youth Dance Comapny (CYDC), Classworks, Dance Offensive and Sin Cru to offer young people opportunities to take part in, and develop their skills in theatre and dance, and create and present performances, as well as running our own classes and special projects.
We also host a regular programme of term-time weekly workshops complemented by additional activities during the holidays.
