Junction Exports (partnered by District Councils and funded by Leader Plus) will be taking ‘Club School’, a project that has run successfully at The Junction for over ten years, out to villages in South Cambridgeshire, East Cambridgeshire and Fenland over the next few months.
Club School runs one day a week for 6 weeks and involves young people (up to 21 years) learning how to promote their own club night. They participate in workshops that include: DJ skills, décor making, flier design, press, marketing and publicity, light and sound. At the end of the week they put on their own club night employing all their new skills
There will also be a week-long intensive Junction Club School taking place in August at a venue to be announced.
