Trans Europe Staff Exchange Scheme |

Another exciting TransEuropeHalles project is the Staff Exchange Scheme, which The Junction is co-ordinating. The exchange programme is aimed at all staff of T.E.H. member centres, working in all cultural and arts areas (i.e. artistic, financial, managerial, development, catering, technical, communications, education, social, operations). Volunteers can also be included in the programme.
The project will enable people to gain new experiences while working in a different cultural and artistic environment, developing their skills, knowledge and professional careers. Moreover it will provide the opportunity to exchange ideas and suggestions between both the hosting centre, sending centre and the visitor. The exchange programme aims to promote the cooperation and understanding between T.E.H. members working across Europe in the cultural industries.
The exchange could last from one week or up to six months. A short visit might be just about learning how the particular centre works, its structure, aims etc. whereas the longer visit might include actual work and participation in everyday life of the Hosting Centre.
The Junction will be responsible for coordinating the whole exchange. The responsibilities will include: organising the matching of candidates and centres, coordinating any fundraising required, keeping information about the project, liaison with the person responsible for the visitor in each centre and preparing the evaluation of the project.
