The Junction teamed up with Sonic Arts Network to offer this practical course for those who want to learn more about the world’s leading software for interactive sound installations.
Phase 1 (October – December 2002)
Phase One offered a series of five sessions for beginners with an emphasis on structured learning. Areas of tuitition include: the Max/ MSP environment; synthesizing and generative processes.
Phase 2 (January – May 2003)
For the second phase, previous experience of Max/ MSP is required. Subjects covered include networks/ internet via MAX; artificial life and intelligence, fractals and chaos, building interfaces, icube, lego; graphics; and other software relationships.
