Junction Fiver on Tour |

The Junction in partnership with ADEC presents:
The Junction Fiver on Tour
at The Maltings, Ely
Friday 30th April 2004 doors 7pm
The Junction Fiver
This is a showcase opportunity for local bands to play on a big stage with great sound and lights. The Fiver was launch at the Junction over a year ago and each month we presented five bands from around the local area. With the closure of The Junction for its redevelopment we have teamed up with our friends at ADEC to put the Fiver on Tour to Ely. The cost is a mere £5 (hence the name – get it!). Musicians who want to play at future Junction Fiver events should send in a demo to Richard Brown at The Junction (see below for contact details).
The Junction Fiver is on Friday 30th April and features:
Poser – A new band making big connexions and causing a big buzz with their bankable rock-punk-pop cross-over tunes. Poser are four fine young Americans who are highly talented and currently based in the UK.
Blueberries – Return after their storming performance at last years Ely Band Competition with their own unmistakable blend of Blues-tinted country Rock tunes
Lifter – Melodic rock tunes with a driven sound and sweet vocals mark this band out for great things.
Kartell – Well regarded across the region for their superior song writing that belies their age. Kartell’s immediate and accessible music makes a vital contribution to the local scene.
Ten Second Window – Quite simply, Ten Second Window make beautiful rock music that is powerful and expansive, yet intimate and intense. Currently being chased by numerous industry types, catch them before they get too big.
Tickets are just £5 in advance & £5 on the door. Available from Babylon Gallery Box Office 01353 616991 and Fenland Music, Market Street, Ely. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.
