Bands Line up for 2006 Competition

The Red Stripe Band Competition 2006
This year’s Red Stripe Cambridge Band Competition has delivered an unusually high numbers of entries and the Junction’s music team have been busy sweating over the selection of the bands for the heats. The four heats run on every Wednesday in March with the final on Wednesday 29th March. Tickets for the heats will be on sale next week and are £5 each, but you can pay £15 for a season ticket to see all the heats and the final. This year we are running a very special offer where we will guarantee you a free ticket to the final if you buy a ticket to one of the heats and join our mailing list.

The Junction are also running a series of free music business workshops and seminars for bands and musicians of all ages in the run up to the competition. The seminars are aimed at bands who want to know more about getting gigs, band publicity and DIY releases. Details of these sessions can be found

So the stage is set for March and what looks like great month of music...
