First UK LGBT History Month takes root  

Cambridge Celebrates Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender History Month 2005!

February 2005 is the first UK LGBT History Month, aiming to illuminate, celebrate, recognise and uncover the histories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gendered people in Britain and Northern Ireland.

Cambridge City Council is supporting LGBT History Month by organising and promoting the following events and activities:

Throughout February: ‘In the Pink’
Gay & Lesbian fiction display
1st Floor, Cambridge City Library, Lion Yard.
Free

Sunday 6th February: Pink Champagne Celebration
The Fez Club, Market Passage
9pm-1am, £4 standard / £2 with flyer

Wednesday 9th February: Lesbian Writing Group

Saturday 12th February: Lic presents ‘Lic me, Lic me not’ Lesbian night
