Street Teams
Want to be part of Heavy, Warning and the other great club events here at The Junction?

Join the Street Team and get in free to the biggest and best club nights in Cambridge.

We are currently looking for more people to join our ever growing Street Teams in Cambridge. You will need to be 15+, fit and reliable and have a good sense of humour, with knowledge of Hip Hop, R&B, Garage and Drum & Bass.

People are needed to work out on the street handing out flyers and doing flyer drops at local record and clothes shops in and around Cambridge. In return, we will put you and a friend on the guest list to our club nights (depending on age restrictions).

Interested? Contact: Charlotte Simms

Work Experience / Placements
The Junction is willing to accommodate school pupils on a work experience placement scheme, however we would like them to demonstrate a serious enthusiasm about the possibility of a career in the arts. Work experience placements cover a range of different activities from working with the technical team to event management, marketing, menial tasks such as photocopying and envelope stuffing, box office and programming, although placements in a specific area of interest can be considered.

The Junction receives a phenomenal amount of applications for these placements but because we wish to make the placement (usually a maximum of two weeks) a worthwhile experience we only offer a total of six per year. Two of these placements are offered to young people who are at risk of offending or have behavioural problems. These placements go through Connexions in the first instance and all applicants will be required to attend an informal interview before they are accepted onto the scheme.

Please note that young people on a school placement scheme must go through their careers department and Connexions. We will not consider applications from individuals not going through their school.
